blueprint for precision medicine in canada

Canada is at a pivotal moment in the evolution of precision medicine. While advances in genomic testing, data analytics, and targeted therapies have opened new frontiers in care, implementation across the country remains fragmented. Disparities in access, infrastructure gaps, and a lack of coordinated strategy have slowed the realization of precision medicine’s full potential for Canadians.

the cancer collaborative is launching a national precision medicine think tank- building a blueprint for precision medicine in Canada to catalyze a pan-Canadian strategy that is equitable, actionable, and grounded in collaboration. Join leaders from across clinical care, research, policy, advocacy, and industry as we co-create a shared strategy and actionable roadmap to drive precision medicine forward—together.

It’s a working forum to define where we are, where we need to go, and how we get there. And it’s the launchpad for the precision medicine co.laboratory—a multistakeholder hub designed to break silos, drive collaboration, and turn strategy into real-world impact.

What You’ll Help Build

  • A Pan-Canadian Precision Medicine Strategy grounded in collaboration, equity, and action

  • A national stakeholder map to reduce duplication and align efforts

  • A precision medicine roadmap with tangible milestones and timelines
